Maanchitra

Maanchitra, an upcoming practice, was established in 2023 by the principal architects Milan Patel and Dutt Patel. Hailing from the state of Gujarat, the decision to set up their practice in the same locale, was feasible and rooted in practicality.

Buildofy chronicled their inaugural project- the Red Man’s House. The project’s foundational stones could be traced back to the architects’ years in architecture college. This residence, with an eccentric red figurine on the façade accompanied by double-height fins on the façade, tells tales of a cherished family member. Traditional elements, artworks, and a simultaneous interplay of light and shadow exude a contemporary vibe throughout this home. The dwelling seamlessly follows the trail of Maanchitra's principle of the fusion of aesthetics and functionality.

Rain Studio of Design

Karai is one ingeniously constructed home by Rain Studio of Design, that captivated Buildofy. Characterized by Mangalore tile walls, metal columns, and vibrant splashes of color, an experiential home design is brought forth. Karai is a collaborative holiday abode that unites four friends and their families through a central courtyard, within the symphony of natural surroundings. Seamlessly blending the interiors and the exteriors is one of the qualities the home takes from the Rain Studio of Design's unwavering foundational philosophy.

Buildofy’s lenses caught Verve, standing as a three-storied epitome of a seamless fusion of Indian and contemporary architectural styles. This tall residence is a witty solution to the constraint of plot size. The Use of Marble, MS steel, and glass fused with brass motifs, interwoven with Ikkat patterns exudes an air of timeless contemporary allure. Featuring rugs, curved furniture, and double-height spaces, a sense of homely luxury sets in the very bone of the dwelling. Filled with rich textures and vibrant pops of colour, this home resonates with the core value of the firm of being experimental in every facet.
