House 2259

Number 2259 is a beautiful house that owes its name to the plot of land it sits on in Dapoli, Maharashtra. As described by architect, the house is constructed from locally sourced natural materials: Laterite stone, Kadappa stone, Teak wood and traditional Mangalore tiles, all of which last for over 150 years.
