Split Level Residence

Split Level Residence is a compact 30x40 Bengaluru home, redefining urban living through a thoughtful interplay of light, levels, and material warmth. Designed around a central skylit courtyard, the home rises through staggered floor plates that create spatial distinction without sacrificing openness. A sculptural rubberwood staircase anchors the vertical movement, while bay windows, brick textures, and natural stone lend depth and clarity to each zone. From an acoustically treated hobby room on the ground floor to elevated living areas, tranquil bedrooms, and a serene terrace framed by terracotta jaalis, every level offers its own experience. The project demonstrates how a modest footprint can evolve into a layered, light-filled home tailored to daily rhythms and contemporary comfort.
