Located in southern Bengaluru, The Turahalli House is a three-bedroom residence designed for a family of three on a compact 1,200 sq. ft. plot overlooking the Turahalli forest. Spanning 3,700 sq. ft., the house uses layered volumes, changing ceiling heights, and carefully framed openings to create a sense of spaciousness. Its red-brick and stone facade leads to a landscaped entrance, where a sculptural green staircase rises above a pond. Inside, skylights bring daylight deep into the interiors, while a double-height balcony connects different levels. Through contrasting materials, compressed passages, and unexpected spatial reveals, the house transforms compact urban living into an experience of continuous discovery.
