Villa S

Inspired by the principles of Vastu, Villa S is designed to keep the clients' aspirations in mind. Every space unfolds as one traverses from one space to the other. Multiple surprise elements are placed thoughtfully to form the focal points, giving the house a sense of liveliness and generating curiosity amongst the visitors. A combination of double heights and large glass facades provides the occupants with views that run wide and far past the house into the rolling lawns placed in front of the house. The introduction of a water body that acts as a reflection pool adds a sense of calmness to anyone occupying the social spaces in the house. The three materials that cover a majority of the spaces viz., concrete, stone, and glass help the architect achieve the minimalism that he aimed for. Other aspects that help him achieve a future-proof residence is the introduction of technology and automation that not just ease the occupants' life but also aids in lower energy consumption.
