Blackbox Design Studio

BLACKBOX was started as a collaborative architecture practice in bangalore by architects Gunashekar (B.Arch, R.V.C.E.) and Sushant D S (B.Arch, R.V.C.E) in the year 2011. The firm takes a deeply contextual approach to its work and combines this with a strong focus on the tactile and sensory qualities of the space. Architectural expressions are distilled to capture the spiritual essence of ‘place’. Its architecture and interiors are inspired by the cultural and climatic nuances of its context, integrating landscape, water features and blurring the distinction between interior and exterior. The team is from diverse disciplines of Architecture, Interior Design, Furniture Design & Landscape Design.
