Studio Apaaar

Studio Apaaar, founded in 2009 by Principal Architect Santosh Sadashiv Pisal, Vikas Sadashiv Pisal, and Kundan Namdeo Kshirsagar, and Tejas Mahavir Munot is a design-and-build architectural practice based in Pune. The studio is widely recognized for its context-sensitive, emotion-driven, and humanity-centered design approach. The name “Apaaar”, meaning “limitless,” reflects the studio’s core philosophy that architecture transcends mere physical structures. It is a medium to express deeper human values, cultural narratives, and emotional experiences through built form. Studio Apaaar’s work focuses on creating architecture that resonates with human experience and introspection, often exploring themes of emotion, spirituality, memory, and cultural symbolism. Each project seeks to establish a meaningful dialogue between people, place, and purpose.
