Studio Meld

Studio Meld is an architecture and interior design practice based in Hyderabad, founded by architects Gautham Chelvakumar and Anupama Sundar. The studio specialises in farmhouses, vacation homes, Airbnb and short-term rental properties, hospitality spaces and premium residences. Meld’s design approach brings together climate-responsive planning, natural materials, Indian architectural traditions and contemporary lifestyles. The studio is particularly interested in courtyards, verandahs, shaded spaces and locally sourced materials that create comfortable, characterful and enduring spaces. From urban residences to weekend homes and hospitality spaces, every project is developed through a close understanding of the site, the client and the way the space will be lived in. Rather than following a fixed visual style, Studio Meld creates architecture that is rooted in place while responding thoughtfully to contemporary ways of living, staying and gathering.
