Vistaar Associates is an architecture and interior design practice that believes that the two disciplines are inseparable. While many firms choose to specialise in either architecture or interiors, Vistaar thrives at the intersection of both, crafting spaces where structure and soul, form and function coexist. The studio’s work spans residential, commercial, and retail environments, each tailored to context, client, and craft. Founded by Ar. B. Shweta, in 2004, Vistaar Associates is steadily carving a reputation for designs that are not only aesthetically refined but also ecologically sensitive and accessible. Shweta has a degree in Architecture from JNTU, Hyderabad, and a Master’s in Interior Design, alongside formative experiences with stalwarts such as B.V. Doshi at VastuShilpa Consultants, Ahmedabad and eco-sensitive practice Inspiration Collective, Kochi. The journey with Inspiration Collective shaping her growth from architect to associate director for design. These experiences have deeply influenced her vision to develop a vocabulary of sustainable, affordable design that serves both people and the planet. At the heart of the practice lies the philosophy of Practical Artistry. Vistaar’s designs balance spatial and visual elements, space, texture, volume, light, and colour, with pragmatic considerations of cost, function, construction, and technology. The result is people-oriented, environmentally conscious work that is artistic yet practical, contemporary yet timeless. With its growing portfolio of residences, retail spaces, and hospitality projects, Vistaar Associates continues to push forward a design language that is both grounded and aspirational.
