Aahladham, a Bengaluru home, designed for a family of four, on a compact east-facing site, cleverly utilizes its verticality to create distinct zones. The design prioritizes open planning and natural light, particularly evident in the double-height living spaces on the first floor. Heritage elements like Chettinad pillars and Athangudi tiles are thoughtfully integrated, adding character and a sense of tradition to the modern spaces. Each floor boasts an outdoor connection, from the ground-level utilities to the children's terrace on the top floor.
