About Project
Aarunya, meaning “rising sun” , is inspired by the grand wadas of Maharashtra. At its heart, is a modern interpretation of the sopa the pillared courtyard walkway which anchors the living and dining space. With Mughal, Rajputana, and Deccan influences, Aarunya celebrates both legacy and life, one soulful detail at a time.
Here, the soul of a traditional wada meets the client’s unique cultural roots, weaving together a narrative that reflects the layered, eclectic, and endlessly evolving spirit of Mumbai where heritage and modernity elevate each other. Every corner reimagines timeless architectural influences through a contemporary lens, tailored to the pace and sensibilities of today’s world.
