About Project
A home shaped not by excess, but by memory, material, and meaning. Astitva Aasara, a renovated Bengaluru residence, is a transformation of a 20-year-old load-bearing structure into a light-filled sanctuary where heirloom furniture, restored details, and preserved trees continue to hold emotional significance within contemporary living. Natural stone, reclaimed wood, passive cooling strategies, and cross-ventilated interiors create a home that feels deeply rooted in its context. From skylit spaces and landscaped pockets to rooms tailored around everyday rituals, the architecture quietly recedes—allowing the family’s stories, routines, and sense of belonging to take centre stage.
