Brown Envelope

The Brown Envelope stands out for its distinct form and careful choice of materials wrapped around an old structure. The connection of the exteriors with the interiors through repetition of the material palette is the main emphasis of the design; with the wooden furniture in the interiors reflecting the exposed brick and aluminum fins used on the exteriors. The architect intended to use landscape as a tool to overcome the limitations of the existing structure and establish a strong connection with nature.
