About Project
Set within a semi-urban gated community in Bengaluru, Classic Orchard Residence designed for Mr. Prakash Reddy and his family blends tropical sensitivity with contemporary spatial planning. The brief called for a practical and comfortable home that prioritises connection to nature, ample natural light, and privacy. These requirements have been addressed with clarity through thoughtful zoning and subtle architectural gestures. The home presents itself as two distinct horizontal volumes, with a grounded travertine base and an upper floor finished in conwood. Landscape features such as a waterbody, mirrored foyer, and pergola-covered setback introduce nature at the entrance. Internally, elements like corner windows, skylights, and open cut-outs bring in daylight and maintain visual continuity between levels. Highlights include a double-height dining space, a skylit pooja room with ornate grillwork, and a sculptural teakwood staircase that anchors the vertical flow of the house. Bedrooms on the upper levels are detailed with individual character, while maintaining coherence through an earthy material palette.
