House of Duality

A contemporary home shaped by the contrasting personalities, lifestyles, and design sensibilities of its owners. Designed through a collaborative effort between three design firms and the homeowner, the residence explores the coexistence of rawness and refinement, enclosure and openness, light and shadow. Concrete, oak, greenery, and carefully curated art create a restrained yet expressive material palette, while private gardens and courtyards establish a sense of retreat. At the heart of the home, an indoor court, koi pond, gardens, and a luminous pooja room create a constantly changing connection with nature, light, and ritual. The terrace level opens into a more playful world of art, views, and family life.
