About Project
Located 30 kilometers from Palakkad, Hridym is designed around a central courtyard that brings light, air, and landscape into the heart of the home. The house blurs boundaries between interior and exterior, creating a fluid spatial experience that reflects the client's desire for openness, connection, and calm. Built using locally sourced Karimpana wood, laterite brick, and handcrafted finishes, the architecture emphasizes raw textures and a deep respect for material authenticity. All rooms, are oriented toward the courtyard, ensuring natural ventilation and visual continuity. Integrated furniture, inbuilt seating, and a lightweight mezzanine contribute to a cohesive and breathable design language that supports both daily routines and moments of pause.
