About Project
Built on a compact urban plot in Sangli, Maharashtra, Kaman reimagines sustainable living through brick, arches, and handcrafted construction. Designed as a living laboratory for low-carbon architecture, the house explores multiple types of structural arches, filler slabs, rat-trap bond walls, reclaimed materials, and passive cooling strategies. More than half the site is left open to nature, creating light-filled spaces that breathe naturally despite dense surroundings. The house proves that sustainable architecture can be practical, economical, and deeply beautiful.
