About Project
Set on a 15,000 sq ft plot with an equivalent built-up area, Kaustubham is envisioned as a calm retreat that stays deeply connected to nature. Guided by Vastu principles, the home unfolds across two levels where expansive windows, glass-wrapped bedrooms, and surrounding verandas ensure that greenery remains visible from almost every corner. The journey begins with a traditional antique door sourced from Kerala that opens into a welcoming patio featuring a guardian Dwarapala and a Nandi sculpture. Inside, the house blends contemporary furniture with Indian art and handcrafted elements, including a hand-carved stone panel from Rajasthan and a foyer painting created with natural vegetable dyes. A sculptural staircase with floating granite steps connects the levels, leading to spaces such as the pooja room, library, informal living area, and the master suite overlooking lush green fields. Named after the celestial gem worn by Lord Vishnu, Kaustubham symbolizes purity, brilliance, and quiet strength reflected through its architecture.
