About Project
Ojas 24 by Mitti Architects redefines eco-friendly living, seamlessly blending into the untouched landscapes of Shoolagiri. This unique home prioritizes a deep connection to nature, featuring natural cross-ventilation and dynamic light and shadow patterns throughout the day. Situated on a lush mango grove, the design integrates existing trees, making the structure an extension of its environment. Beyond aesthetics, this home champions sustainability. It utilizes locally sourced materials, including innovative poured earth debris walls and a natural filtration system for its swimming pool, significantly reducing its carbon footprint. The open-plan living hall with a casuarina roof brings the outdoors in, while private courtyards offer secluded natural retreats for each bedroom. Even the master bathroom extends into nature with a boulder-crafted jacuzzi. Ojas 24 is a living prototype of harmonious, sustainable design, where every detail fosters well-being and a profound connection to the earth.
