Set on a long linear site in Madurai, this 15,000 sq. ft. residence transforms spatial constraints into an experience of light, landscape, and calm. Designed as a contemporary multi-generational home, the architecture balances openness with privacy through landscaped courts, filtered daylight, and tactile materials like teakwood, brass, marble, and textured finishes. A 100-foot corridor unfolds as a journey rather than circulation, softened by pockets of greenery and natural ventilation throughout. From the contemplative pooja space overlooking water to the warm, light-filled living areas, the home celebrates stillness, connection, and everyday rituals through architecture rooted in warmth, mindfulness, and belonging.
