About Project
Located in Tiruppur, Pu Vaasal is a thoughtful amalgamation of traditional principles and contemporary design sensibilities. Rooted deeply in Vaastu Shastra, the residence is defined by its inward-looking planning, natural ventilation, and a seamless integration of indoor and outdoor realms. Anchored by courtyards and punctuated by water bodies and lush greenery, the home fosters a quiet connection with nature while offering its inhabitants both privacy and openness. The spatial layout is organised around a central spine that connects the primary zones, from the flower-laden entrance and koi pond to the informal living, pooja, and kitchen. Each space has been curated with natural materials such as marble, wood, and stone, lending warmth and a tactile quality to the home. A vertical screen of tinted glass strips subtly defines the informal living area, while clerestory windows and double-height volumes enhance light and movement. The entire house is powered by solar panels, reflecting a conscious shift toward sustainable living.
