About Project
In Namakkal, Sahasra reinterprets traditional Vastu principles through a contemporary architectural language. Conceived as a multi-generational home, the 12,000-square-foot residence balances grandeur with intimacy through carefully articulated volumes, layered thresholds, and a restrained material palette. At its heart, a central courtyard and monolithic marble Pooja room establish a sense of permanence and ritual. Skylit corridors, expansive openings, filtered daylight, and framed views create a fluid connection between interior and landscape. Rather than relying on conventional expressions of tradition, the home embraces simplicity, proportion, and materiality to create a timeless living experience.
