About Project
Located in Anand, Gujarat, the Shreekunj Residence exemplifies a design language that merges contemporary minimalism with contextual sensitivity. Set on a 9,500 sq.ft. plot, this thoughtfully planned bungalow draws from Zen-inspired principles, using earthy materials, soft curves, and strategic spatial zoning to create a residence that feels both rooted and refined. At the heart of the design lies a central service core, allowing living spaces to flow seamlessly around it. A curved compound wall leads visitors into the home, setting the tone for spaces defined by natural light, textured finishes, and a strong indoor-outdoor relationship. The double-height family living area, the floating staircase with its V-shaped railing, and the perforated brick screen on the first-floor balcony showcase the balance of form, function, and aesthetics. The restrained material palette, terracotta tiles, washable terrazzo, and wood accents add warmth and understated elegance throughout. Shreekunj stands as a quiet statement of contemporary design in Gujarat, where every element from the curved walls to the double-height interiors contributes to a calm, immersive living experience.
