Designed on a compact urban plot in Amravati, the home brings together earthy materiality and thoughtful spatial planning. A double-height courtyard forms the centre of the home, bringing the family together and forming a strong visual connection across all levels. Lime plaster and exposed brick lend an authentic, refined quality to the spaces, while a vivid blue staircase becomes an aesthetic element of contrast. Windows, designed as a modern interpretation of the traditional jharokhas, overlook the skylit courtyard forming deep connections between the family members.
