About Project
Located in the dense urban fabric of Bengaluru, The Triad Home is designed as an inward-looking home for three generations. Built on a 60’ x 40’ north-facing site, the home breaks away from the conventional stacked-box typology through the use of vertical voids, double-height volumes, and soft natural light that allow the house to breathe from within. The residence unfolds through layered spatial experiences from a grounded vocal studio and service core on the lower level, to a double-height living space centered around a Dravidian-style black stone Mandir, forming the spiritual heart of the home. Upper levels maintain visual continuity through open voids, terrace gardens, and interconnected lounges that strengthen the dialogue between generations. The top floor adopts a bold character with a dark monochromatic media room and a dramatic 30-foot green window framing the city canopy. Throughout the home, restrained materials, concealed detailing, and tactile surfaces create a calm and timeless atmosphere.
The Triad Home is an exploration of light, ritual, void, and multi-generational living. A contemporary urban sanctuary rooted in Indian traditions.
